Ragsdale

Ragsdale is one of six bullies born 10-12-09. He will be perfect for a family with kids or anyone who will enjoy his good-natured & pleasant personality. He loves to be wherever people are, a first-rate lap sitter, TV watcher, and book reader with a quiet and patient manner. Although placid, very polite he can also be quite playful. He is a stout boy with dark brindle coat and white markings, lots of wrinkles and a straight tail that wags frequently! He’s dignified, smart; always part of the games and fun, thoroughly toddler approved and will be a great companion. Ragsdale is from Champion blood lines on both sides of his pedigree. His sire is Versace (Bulldogs of Timber Ridge) and a son of Champion Cherokee Legend Crazy Horse who is a Bulldog Club of America Hall of Fame Sire.

Raised in our home, socialized with lots of people, kids, dogs and cats he is ready to make your life just a little more fun. Despite their appearance, bulldogs are very kind, perceptive dogs with lovable natures - great with kids & other pets.

Purchasing a Puppy

When you contact me regarding one of our puppies, I expect to receive quite a few questions regarding the puppies. Likewise, you should expect I'll have many questions for you in return. I visit with all potential new families for our puppies to be sure that one of our babies will be a good fit for you and your family and likewise that you will receive a puppy that matches your expectations. Sometimes I find things aren't a good fit and advise looking for a different breed or waiting for a later litter - this is always with the best match for you and my puppy in mind. I'm looking for people who love animals, are looking for a long term companion and have lifestyles that are compatible with that of a bulldog. Please note that I do not sell to puppy brokers or pet shops. Puppies come with a health certificate, health guarantee, AKC registration and a microchip implant for identification. Our puppies have been raised in my home with lots of attention they come pre-loved, toddler approved, and socialized for a great start in their new life with you. Please note that bulldogs are expensive to breed and raise, I take considerable care to ensure their health and suitability to an active healthy lifestyle. My puppies are priced accordingly and come with our continued support to ensure a smooth transition from my home to yours.

About Us.....

Welcome to Bella Bullies, located in rural northeast Oklahoma, we are fifth generation cattle breeders, a family of five (including “Bella” and "Fatty Patty" the bulldogs) and absolutely devoted to our animals. My husband and I both have bachelors degrees in animal science from our beloved Oklahoma State University. Even though we aren’t “full-time” dog breeders we are excellent stewards of any animal in our care, because animal husbandry comes as second nature to us and because our love for our animals drives our decisions and work with our animals. We take great pride and joy in the few litters of English bulldog puppies that we produce and thus we are selective about their new homes and families. We dedicate quite a bit of time and thought to producing healthy, sound puppies with consistently good dispositions.

We took great care when looking for a breeder from whom to purchase Bella. Our goals included ensuring that we were selecting a healthy puppy suited to an active outdoor lifestyle who could offer a positive genetic addition to the Bulldog breed. When we decided that we wanted to raise a litter of bulldog puppies we took time in the selection of the stud that we use, paying special attention to the phenotype (outward appearance/conformation) and genotype (genetics). Most important to us is the health and welfare of our puppies and ensuring that wonderful and healthy puppies find great new homes. We want your new puppy to be a decision you'll never regret and a treasured member of your family. In this way we hope to pass forward the joy we've found as bulldog owners.

Bella

Our search for Bella was a long one, but just like many experiences in life, I knew very quickly that she was “the one” when I first saw her with her litter mates; Bella was special. I had already had one bad experience with a con-women in Texas, I lost quite a bit of money and learned an important life lesson. I continued my search a found a reputible breeder that had the same goals in mind as I did; healthy dogs, the betterment of the breed, and finding great homes for her puppies.

New Year’s Eve 2005 was a night that changed my life forever……..Bella has been with me through everything since that night. She goes to work with me everyday, regardless if that work is in the office or outside in the cattle pens. We have been through pregnancy together (her first litter was delivered one month before my daughter), she sleeps in the bed with me every night, she is my constant companion and the perfect playmate for my daughter. Simply put she is special and her babies are too.
